【브레이크뉴스 경주】박영재 기자=위덕대학교 물리치료학과(학과장 이명희)는 지난 27일 갈마관 중강당에서 재학생 140여명이 참석한 가운데 ‘제6회 위덕대학교 물리치료학과 학술제’를 개최했다고 31일 밝혔다.
이날 학술제에서 “The shoulder joint”를 주제로 2학년은 구조와 기능, 3학년은 어깨관절의 병리 및 물리치료적 접근방법에 대하여 발표하였다. 특히 4학년은 2개조로 나뉘어 1년간 심여를 기울여 작성한 논문(운동효과 극대화를 위한 연구, 스트레칭 방법 비교연구)을 발표했다.
초청 강사로 푸른청신경과의원 PCN도수치료센터의 임증완 센터장을 초빙하여 ‘Shoulder’를 주제로 어깨관절의 주요 질병 및 물리치료적 접근방법에 대하여 특강을 진행하여, 학생들이 쌓아 올린 전공능력을 향상시키는 뜻 깊은 시간을 가졌다.
위덕대학교 물리치료학과는 개설 10여년만에 위덕대학교 대표학과로 성장하였으며 동국대학교병원, 경북권역재활병원, 세명기독병원, 포항S병원 등에 학생들의 높은 취업성과를 이루어 내고 있다.
