【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자=경북콘텐츠진흥원은 K-콘텐츠시대를 맞아 이야기의 고장 경북을 스토리산업의 메카로 자리매김하기 위해 오는 20일 경북 안동 전통리조트 구름에 일대에서 ‘글로벌 K-스토리 프리 페스티벌’이 개최된다고 13일 밝혔다.

경상북도 주최, 경상북도콘텐츠진흥원(원장 이종수) 주관으로 열리는 이번 행사에는 한국의 대표작가 이문열을 비롯 ‘뽀로로’의 최종일 대표 등 스토리콘텐츠 분야의 유명 인사들이 대거 참여한다.

이날 행사는 먼저 ‘우리들의 일그러진 영웅’, ‘불멸’ 등 경북 출신 이문열 작가가 축사에 이어 ‘뽀로로’ 등 국내 대표 애니메이션을 제작한 아이코닉스의 최종일 대표와 ‘찬실이는 복도 많지’의 김초희 영화감독이 ‘K-이야기꾼, 세계 무대에서 한국의 정서를 이야기하다’를 주제로 토크쇼가 진행된다.

또 북콘서트에서는 넷플릭스 글로벌 TOP10에 들며 홍콩, 대만, 일본 등에서 시청률 1위를 차지했던 드라마 ‘그해 우리는’ 이나은 작가가 창작 과정 등을 주제로 이야기를 들려준다. 이어 ‘대한민국 스토리 공모대전’ 대상을 수상한 허재호(‘귀시’)와 ‘신진스토리작가 지원 육성사업’ 수상자 조아라(‘범인들의 인쇄소’)가 참여하는 기성작가-예비작가 대담도 이어진다

한편 지난 20년 간 진흥원에서 개최한 ‘경북 영상콘텐츠 시나리오 공모전’ 수상작가들 중 우수 작품을 골라 피칭을 준비, 제작사에게 선보이고 상담시간도 마련해 산업화의 가능성도 모색한다.

마지막으로 콘퍼런스에서는 ‘한류 전도사’로 전 세계를 누빈 한국방송공사(KBS) 김인규 전 사장의 ‘한류 성공비밀과 드라마 발전 전략’이라는 기조강연을 시작으로 방송학회 소속 정윤식 교수(강원대)의 ‘글로벌 OTT 트렌드와 드라마 미래’, 김공숙 교수(안동대)의 ‘경북 콘텐츠 드라마 극본 방안’을 주제로 강연이 진행된다.

이어 포럼에서는 ‘이상한 변호사 우영우’를 방영한 ENA 윤용필 대표, 문체부 박민권 전 차관, 제작사 스튜디오레드 이태형 대표, 안동대 김시범 교수 등이 참석해 ‘경북 스토리 세계화 전략’에 대해 토론이 펼쳐진다.

이외에도 일반인들을 대상으로  ‘경북 영상콘텐츠 시나리오 공모전’ 출신작가이자 K-스토리를 이끄는 백미경 작가의 작품(드라마 ‘품위있는 그녀’, ‘마인’ 등)과 공모전 수상작품의 영상을 볼 수 있는 전시전과 한류 드라마·영화 OST 공연 등 부대행사도 진행된다.

이종수 진흥원장은 “수많은 스토리 보고인 경북은 글로벌 K-스토리의 중심지”라며, “경북 도민을 비롯하여 스토리에 관심있는 국내외 많은 창작자분들과 관계자분들이 페스티벌에 참여하여 교류의 장을 펼치길 바란다”고 말했다.
