【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=경상북도콘텐츠진흥원(원장 이종수)의 경북웹툰캠퍼스(이하 캠퍼스)는 입주 공간을 원하는 도내 웹툰 작가와 웹툰 기업을 모집한다고 4일 밝혔다.

모집 대상은 웹툰작가(기성 및 예비) 7인(개인 창작실 2인, 공동 창작실 5인)과 웹툰 기업 2개사로 이달 18일까지 접수받는다.

선정된 입주작가와 기업은 입주 후 2년 동안 임대료와 보증금 없이 입주실 사용이 가능하며 입주작가에게는 ‘와콤 신티크’ 와 ‘클립 스튜디오’를 입주 기간 동안 무상으로 제공하고, 캠퍼스에서 운영하는 다양한 프로그램을 우선 지원한다.

이번 지원은 경북 웹툰 작가와 기업에 안정적인 웹툰 제작 환경을 제공해 도내 웹툰 산업의 발전을 도모하기 위해 기획됐다.

한편 지난 3월 개소한 캠퍼스는 현재 총 8명의 작가가 개인 창작실에 입주해 웹툰 창작 활동 중이며 순회 전시 참여와 교육 강사 활동 및 프로젝트 참여 섭외 등 다양한 활동 지원 혜택을 받고 있으며 자세한 모집 내용과 지원방법 등은 캠퍼스 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
