【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=경상북도콘텐츠진흥원(원장 이종수, 이하 진흥원)이 운영하는 경북웹툰캠퍼스(이하 캠퍼스)는 2023년 신규 입주자를 모집한다고 16일 밝혔다.

진흥원에 따르면 모집 대상은 웹툰 콘텐츠 창작에 대한 열정이 가득한 작가 6인 (개인 창작실 3인, 공동 창작실 3인), 전문성 및 비전을 가진 기업 1개사이다. 금번 입주자 모집은 경북웹툰캠퍼스 홈페이지를 통해 3월 31일 18시까지신청 가능하다.

입주자로 선정되면 입주 보증금 및 임대료 없이 입주실을 사용할 수 있으며, 월 관리비도 한시적으로 무상지원 받는다. 또한 사무용 집기를 비롯해 캠퍼스 내 쉼터, 회의실, 휴게실 등 공용시설을 자유롭게 사용할 수 있다.

특히, 캠퍼스는 입주 작가들의 창작활동을 적극 지원하기 위해서 클립스튜디오가 내장된 와콤 신티크를 입주 기간 동안 무상 대여하며, 그 외 다양한 지원 프로그램을 운영할 예정이다.

캠퍼스 입주 기간은 기본 2년이며, 입주 연장신청 및 심사를 통해 최대 4년까지 입주 계약을 유지할 수 있다.

이종수 진흥원장은 “경북웹툰캠퍼스는 도내 웹툰 창작자 양성의 요람이 될 것”이라며, “웹툰 산업 진출을 꿈꾸는 도내 인재들과 기업이 많이 신청하기를 바란다.”고 전했다.
