【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=경상북도콘텐츠진흥원(원장 이종수, 이하 진흥원)의 경북웹툰캠퍼스(이하 캠퍼스)가 주최하는 ‘경북 작가 기획전’이 지난 10월31일 캠퍼스 전시홀에서개막했다.

3일, 경상북도콘텐츠진흥원에 따르면 이번 기획전은 ‘2022 경북웹툰캠퍼스 전시 작가 공모’를 통해 선정된 하선정, 마숑(강민송), 신세기 등 3인이 날짜 조율을 통해 캠퍼스 전시홀 전체 무상대여, 작품 제작비 일부 등의 지원을 받아 차례대로 개인전을 개최한다.

첫 번째로 전시하는 하선정 작가는 ‘스트로베리베리팡팡’(2017), ‘코튼캔디캔디뿅뿅’(2019), ‘아기곰 ABC’(2021) 등의 그림책 출간 및 다수의 전시 이력이 있는 아동문학 작가로 파스텔 톤의 따뜻한 색채와 남녀노소 모두에게 행복을 선사하는 부드러운 화풍이 특징이다.

하선정 작가는 이번 개인전 ‘두근두근 장난감 방’을 통해 캐릭터 이모티콘, 동화 원화, 북 트레일러 등 31점의 작품과 2개의 영상을 선보인다. 또, 포토존을 마련해 관람객이 직접 전시에 참여하여 특별한 추억을 남길 수 있도록 유도할 계획이다.

이번 전시는 오는 11월 22일까지 공휴일을 제외한 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 캠퍼스 1층 전시홀에서 무료로 관람할 수 있다.

한편, 캠퍼스는 개소 이후 입주작가 작품 및 ‘경상북도 단편 웹툰 공모전’ 수상작 전시, 도내 소규모 페스티벌 [STAY.G054×황남동 카니발] 기획전을 성료했다.

이종수 진흥원장은 “이번 ‘경북 작가 기획전’을 통해 선보일 경북 작가들의 작품에 많은 관심을 부탁한다”며 당부하는 한편, “앞으로 캠퍼스에서 진행될 지원사업 및 교육 프로그램에도 많은 도민들이 참여하길 바란다”고 전했다.

The Gyeongbuk Artist Exhibition, hosted by the Gyeongbuk Webtoon Campus (hereinafter the Campus) of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Creative Content Agency (Director Jong-su Lee, hereafter referred to as the Promotion Agency), opened on October 31st at the campus exhibition hall.

This special exhibition will be held in turn with support from the entire campus exhibition hall, free rental of the entire campus exhibition hall, part of the production cost, etc. through the coordination of dates by Ha Seon-jeong, Mason (Kang Min-song), and Shin Se-gi, who were selected through the '2022 Gyeongbuk Webtoon Campus Exhibition Artist Competition'.  The first artist to be exhibited is Seonjeong Ha, a children's literature writer who has published and exhibited picture books such as 'Strawberry Berry Pang Pang' (2017), 'Cotton Candy Candy Pong Pong' (2019), and 'Baby Bear ABC' (2021). It features warm pastel tones and a soft style that brings happiness to all ages.

Writer Ha Seon-jeong will present 31 works and two videos, including character emoticons, original fairy tales, and book trailers, through this solo exhibition 'The Thrilling Toy Room'. In addition, a photo zone will be prepared to encourage visitors to participate in the exhibition and leave special memories.

This exhibition can be viewed free of charge at the exhibition hall on the first floor of the campus from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays, until November 22.

On the other hand, since the opening of the campus, works by resident artists, the winning works of the ‘Gyeongsangbuk-do Short Webtoon Contest’, and a small-scale festival [STAY.G054 × Hwangnam-dong Carnival] in the province were successful.

Lee Jong-soo, head of the Promotion Agency, said, "We ask for a lot of interest in the works of Gyeongbuk artists to be showcased through this 'Gyeongbuk Artist Exhibition'.
