【브레이크뉴스 경북】박영재 기자=경상북도콘텐츠진흥원(원장 이종수, 이하 진흥원)이 운영하는 경북웹툰캠퍼스(이하 캠퍼스)는 캠퍼스 입주작가와 도내 창작자의 창작 활동 장려를 위해 경북경찰청과 함께 청렴 웹툰을 제작했다.

29일 진흥원에 따르면 캠퍼스는 경북경찰청‘청렴 스토리 공모전’최우수 당선작 스토리를 바탕으로 한 웹툰과 반부패 시책 ‘사적접촉금지제도’ 홍보 웹툰 각 1편씩 총 2편을 제작했다.

제작된 콘텐츠는 경찰청 내부망 게시판, 페이스북, 경찰서 민원실과 현관에비치된 TV 등 다양한 활용처를 통해서 게시되고 있다.

이번 행보를 시작으로 진흥원과 캠퍼스는 경북 도내 웹툰 창작 환경의 선순환을 도모하고 캠퍼스 입주작가를 비롯한 도내 창작자들의 활동을 계속 지원할 예정이다.

한편, 캠퍼스는 올해 3월 개소를 통해 경북 웹툰 산업 성장의 거점을 마련했으며 2022년 한 해 동안 △교육 및 특강 프로그램 △체험 및 행사 프로그램△콘텐츠 제작 지원 △산업 실무 지원 △전시 활동 지원 △시설 운영 등을 진행했다.

이종수 진흥원장은 “경북경찰청과의 협업을 통해서 경북도 웹툰 작가들의 역량 강화와 활동 증진에 진흥원과 캠퍼스가 많은 도움이 되었길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 경북의 웹툰 창작자들을 위해 관심과 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
