【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 최삼룡, 이하 대구경북경자청)은 지난 20일 서울 코엑스에서 수도권ICT 기업대표 등 70여명을 대상으로‘2022 DGFEZ ICT네트워킹데이’를개최했다고 21일 밝혔다.

대구경북경자청에 따르면 이번 행사는 미래 5대 신산업의 하나인 ABB(인공지능・빅데이터・블록체인)산업과 ICT산업에 연관된 기업들을 대상으로 수도권에서 지역으로이전하는기업을 발굴하고자 기획됐다.

이날 1부 행사에서는대구경북경제자유구역청 인센티브 소개, 수도권에서지역으로 이전하는 ICT기업의 이전사례 발표(주식회사 베이리스 김형준대표), 지역정착 성공사례발표(우경정보기술 박윤하대표), AI산업 트렌드를 살펴보는 전문가강연(카이스트심현정 교수)으로 진행됐다.

이어진 2부 행사에서는 대구경북경제자유구역청과 수도권ICT기업 간의 ‘만찬’을 통해 자유로운네트워킹 시간을 가졌다.

대구경북경제자유구역청은이번 행사를 통해 수도권 ICT기업을 수성알파시티 등 지역 내 경제자유구역으로 중점 유치할 수 있는 기초를 마련하고, 아울러,지역 내 ICT 클러스터의확장은물론내실까지 챙길 계획이다.

수성알파시티는올해8월말 ‘과기부-대구시 간의 디지털생태계 육성을 위한 협약’을발표한이후소프트웨어와 ABB 관련기업들의 입주로 지방 최대 디지털혁신거점으로 급부상하고 있다.

현재 대구에는 우경정보기술, 이튜, 오픈정보기술 등 매출 100억원대 이상의 ICT기업들이 입주해 있으며, 성남시판교에 있는 ㈜베이리스와 서울 서초구에 있는 ㈜비즈데이터와같은 수도권 유망테크기업들이 잇따라 지역으로 이전을 결정하면서ICT 및 ABB산업 관련 기업들이 사업영역을 급속히 넓혀가고 있다.

대구경북경제자유구역청은 이러한 분위기를 적극 활용해 지역을 ‘대구의실리콘밸리’, ‘지역의 디지털 혁신거점’으로 거듭나게 하겠다는 복심이다.

최삼룡 청장은 “최근ICT와 ABB 산업으로 급부상하고 있는 수성알파시티 등대구경북 경제자유구역에수도권 기업들의 투자유치를 활성화시켜서 ‘SW융합산업의영남권 디지털혁신 중심거점’으로 성장시킬 수 있도록지원과 노력을아끼지 않겠다.”고 밝혔다.

 Through this event, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority plans to lay the groundwork for attracting ICT companies in the metropolitan area to local free economic zones such as Suseong Alpha City, while also expanding the ICT cluster in the region and taking care of its stability.

 Suseong Alpha City is rapidly emerging as the region's largest digital innovation base as software and ABB-related companies have moved in since announcing the 'Agreement for Digital Ecosystem Nurturing between the Ministry of Science and Technology and Daegu City' at the end of August this year.

Currently, ICT companies with sales of more than 10 billion won are located in Daegu, such as Wookyung Information Technology, ETU, and Open Information Technology. As they decided to relocate, ICT and ABB industry-related companies are rapidly expanding their business areas.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority intends to actively utilize this atmosphere to transform the region into ‘Daegu’s Silicon Valley’ and ‘local digital innovation base’.
