【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(DGFEZ, 청장 김병삼)은 10월 25~26일 2일간, 수도권 소재 주한 일본기업을 대상으로 포항융합기술산업지구 현장 초청 설명회 및 기업 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에는 반도체, 운송기계 등 관련 부품소재 기업을 비롯해 특허사무소, 세무법인 등 11개사 20여 명의 주한 일본기업과 유관기관 관계자가 참석했다.

설명회에서는 조세 감면, 현금지원 등 외국인 투자 인센티브 제도가 소개됐으며, 포항융합기술산업지구 및 인근 산업환경에 대한 안내도 진행됐다.

포항융합기술산업지구 주변에는 포스코, 동국제강 등 국내 대표 철강사와 에코프로, 포스코케미칼 등 이차전지 소재 기업, 첨단 바이오 분야 강소기업이 밀집해 있다.

또한 포스텍, 방사광가속기연구소, 나노기술집적센터, 지능로봇연구소, 막스플랑크연구소 등 연구기관이 입주 기업과 긴밀히 협력하며 산·학·연 연계 생태계가 잘 구축되어 있음을 강조했다.

이어진 기업간담회에서는 대구경북 내 지정된 8개 경제자유구역 현황과 ICT·로봇, 바이오·메디칼, 지능형 자동차 부품 등 주요 산업을 소개했다. 참가기업들은 DGFEZ 내 인력수급 여건과 정주 환경에 높은 관심을 보였다.

김병삼 DGFEZ 청장은 “주한 외국인 투자기업을 대상으로 DGFEZ 투자환경 정보를 지속 제공하고 정기적 교류를 강화할 계획”이라며, “앞으로도 우수 해외기업 유치를 위해 꾸준히 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

DGFEZ Holds Investment Briefing for Japanese Companies in Korea on Pohang Convergence Technology Industrial Complex

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEZ, Commissioner Kim Byung-sam) announced that it held an on-site briefing session and business meeting for Japanese companies in the Seoul metropolitan area on October 25th and 26th.

The event was attended by approximately 20 Japanese companies in Korea and officials from related organizations, including semiconductor, transportation machinery, and related parts and materials companies, patent offices, and tax accounting firms.

The briefing introduced foreign investment incentives, including tax breaks and cash grants, and provided information on the Pohang Convergence Technology Industrial Complex and the surrounding industrial environment.
