DGFEZ는 ‘新 중장기 발전전략’에 따라 1,600억원 규모의 VC 자금투자유치를 위해 지난 7월 24일 서울에서 수도권 VC 및 기업 초청 투자유치 설명회‘를 개최했다.

이때 행사에 참석한 VC들의 지역 기업에 대한 투자 기회 제공에 대한 요청이 있었고, 이에 대한 후속조치로‘수성알파디지털위크’에 해당 VC를 초청하여 수성알파시티 홍보 및 지역 투자 유망기업과 1:1 오픈 펀드 매칭 데이 개최를 추진했다.

‘수성알파디지털위크’는 비수도권 최대 SW 집적단지로 성장한 수성알파시티에 문화를 더해 머무르고 싶은 수성알파시티를 만들고자대구시와 대구디지털혁신진흥원(DIP)이 추진하는 다양한 비즈니스 기회와 산업·문화행사가 개최되는 융복합 행사로 수성알파시티 내 입주기업과 일반 시민들이 참석할 수 있다.

DGFEZ는 비즈니스 행사 내 투자유치 활성화 추진을 주목적으로 하고 있으며, 이번 이벤트는 수도권 VC 수성알파시티 시찰, 세미나(iM뱅크 사업및 DGFEZ 투자유치 지원 사업 소개), 참가자 및 VC 간네트워킹, 그리고 사전에 매칭된 VC와 지역 기업 간 1:1 오픈 펀드 매칭 행사로 구성되어 진행하였다..

iM뱅크와 DGFEZ 지원 사업 안내로 구성될 세미나에는 수성알파시티 내 입주기업, 지역 내 SW기업 및 VC·AC들이 모두 참석 대상자이며 본 행사 이후에는 DIP에서 개최하는 치맥 네트워킹 행사와연계한 저녁 행사를 개최하여 1:1 오픈 펀드 매칭 데이에 참석하지 못한 지역 기업들에게도 수도권 VC와 소통할 수 있는 시간을 제공하였다.

DGFEZ는 행사를 통하여 지역 기업이 평소 접근이 어려운 수도권 대형 VC 초청을 통해 자금 투자유치와 네트워킹을 지원하면서 동시에수성알파시티에 입주한 기업만 대상으로 1:1 오픈 펀드 매칭 행사 참석자를 모집하여 향후 역외 혹은 대구 권역 내 기업들이 수성알파시티입주 시에만 받을 수 있는 추가 인센티브로 홍보했다.

김병삼 대구경북경제자유구역청장은 “투자자들의 자금 유치 활성화를 위해 수성알파시티 내 기업들의 기술력과 경쟁력 개발이 필요하다. 이를 위해 DGFEZ에서도 지속적인 지원 사업을 추진하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Through the event, DGFEZ supported local companies to attract investment and network by inviting large VCs in the metropolitan area that are usually difficult to access, while at the same time recruiting participants for the 1:1 open fund matching event exclusively for companies that have moved into Susung Alpha City, and promoted it as an additional incentive that companies from outside the region or within the Daegu area can receive only when moving into Susung Alpha City in the future.
