【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구테크노파크(원장 김한식) 대구라이즈사업본부는 6월 20일 지역 혁신중심 대학지원체계인 ‘대구라이즈(RISE)’ 사업의 본격 수행을 앞두고, 대구 지역 10개 대학을 대상으로 성공적인 추진과 성과 창출을 위한 세미나를 개최했다.

이번 세미나는 대구라이즈 전담기관인 대구TP가 주관했으며, 사업 협약 체결에 앞서 지역과 대학 간 협력 체계를 강화하고 라이즈 사업의 내실 있는 추진을 도모하기 위해 마련되었다. 세미나에서는 중앙라이즈위원회 성과분과 박철우 위원장이 중앙과 지역 간 성과지표 연계 방안과 효율적인 성과관리 체계 구축 방안을 제시했다.

지난 13일 대구시가 지역 10개 대학과 성과협약을 체결한 이후 진행된 이번 행사에서, 참여 대학들은 대구형 라이즈 체계의 비전과 핵심목표를 공유하며 공동 성과 창출을 위한 사업 수행을 본격화하는 계기를 마련했다.

세미나 종료 후에는 대학별 RISE 사업단 간 유기적 소통과 사업 내실화를 위한 ‘대구라이즈사업단장협의회’ 구성 회의가 열렸으며, 경북대학교 정순기 라이즈사업단장이 협의회장으로 선출되었다.

대구라이즈사업단장협의회는 대학 간 네트워크 구축 및 상호 교류를 통해 사업 추진 현황과 노하우를 공유하고, 주요 성과를 발굴·확산하여 사업 효과성을 높이며 지속 가능한 추진 기반을 조성할 계획이다.

김한식 대구테크노파크 원장은 “대구라이즈센터가 지역 내 지자체, 대학, 기업, 혁신기관 등 다양한 주체를 연결하는 중심 역할을 수행하며, 지역 혁신의 집합적 성과 창출에 역량을 집중하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Techno Park Holds Seminar with 10 Local Universities for Successful Promotion of ‘Daegu RISE’

Daegu Techno Park (Director Kim Han-sik) Daegu RISE Business Headquarters held a seminar on June 20th for 10 local universities in Daegu to promote successful promotion and achievements ahead of the full-scale implementation of the ‘Daegu RISE’ project, a regional innovation-centered university support system.

This seminar was hosted by Daegu TP, the organization in charge of Daegu RISE, and was prepared to strengthen the cooperation system between the region and universities and to promote the substantial promotion of the RISE project ahead of the signing of the business agreement. At the seminar, Chairman Park Cheol-woo of the Central RISE Committee Performance Division presented a plan to link performance indicators between the central and local regions and a plan to establish an efficient performance management system.

At this event, which was held after Daegu City signed a performance agreement with 10 local universities on the 13th, the participating universities shared the vision and core goals of the Daegu-type RISE system and created an opportunity to begin carrying out projects to create joint results in earnest.

After the seminar, a meeting to form the ‘Daegu RISE Business Unit Director Council’ was held to promote organic communication and business substance between RISE business units of each university, and Kyungpook National University RISE Business Unit Director Jeong Soon-gi was elected as the council chairman.

The Daegu RISE Business Unit Director Council plans to share the status of business promotion and know-how through networking and mutual exchanges between universities, discover and spread key results to increase business effectiveness, and create a foundation for sustainable promotion.

Kim Han-sik, Director of Daegu Technopark, said, “The Daegu RISE Center will play a central role in connecting various entities such as local governments, universities, companies, and innovation organizations in the region, and will focus its capabilities on creating collective results of regional innovation.”
