【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 김병삼)은 대구상공회의소(회장 박윤경)와 함께 중동시장 판로 개척을 위한 무역사절단 참가기업을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 무역사절단은 오는 9월 22일부터 27일까지 4박 6일 일정으로 아랍에미리트 두바이와 사우디아라비아 리야드를 방문해 현지 수출상담회를 진행할 예정이며, 대구경북경제자유구역(DGFEZ) 입주(예정)기업 12개사 내외가 대상이다. 품목은 종합품목으로 제한 없이 다양한 기업이 참가할 수 있다.

특히 올해부터는 기존 반기별 파견 체계에서 연 1회 집중 파견 방식으로 전환하여, 참가기업에 대한 지원 범위와 규모를 대폭 확대한다. 

주요 지원 내용은 기업당 1인 통역 제공, 현지 유력 바이어와 1:1 매칭 수출상담회 주선, 출장자 1인에 대한 항공료, 비자 발급 등 체재비 지원 등 이다.

참가를 희망하는 기업은 6월 25일(수)까지 대구경북경제자유구역청(www.dgfez.go.kr) 또는 대구상공회의소(www.dcci.or.kr) 홈페이지에서 참가신청서와 제출서류 양식을 다운로드해 전자우편으로 접수하면 된다.

노경완 대구경북경제자유구역청 혁신전략부장은 “이번 중동 무역사절단은 단순 수출 상담을 넘어, 중동시장 진출 전략 수립과 네트워크 기반 마련의 중요한 기회가 될 것”이라며 “우수한 지역 기업들이 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority dispatches Middle East trade delegation… Recruiting participating companies

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (Director Kim Byung-sam) announced that it is recruiting participating companies for a trade delegation to open up sales channels in the Middle East market together with the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Park Yoon-kyung).

This trade delegation will visit Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for 4 nights and 6 days from September 22 to 27 to hold local export consultations. The target is approximately 12 companies that are (or will be) located in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ). There is no limit to the number of companies that can participate in the comprehensive product line.

In particular, starting this year, the existing semi-annual dispatch system will be changed to an annual concentrated dispatch system, significantly expanding the scope and scale of support for participating companies.

The main support contents include providing one interpretation per company, arranging one-on-one export consultations with local influential buyers, and supporting living expenses such as airfare and visa issuance for one business traveler.

Companies wishing to participate should download the application form and submission documents from the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (www.dgfez.go.kr) or Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (www.dcci.or.kr) website by June 25 (Wed) and submit them via e-mail.

Noh Kyung-wan, Director of Innovation Strategy at the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority, said, “This Middle East trade mission will be an important opportunity to establish a strategy for entering the Middle East market and establish a network foundation beyond simple export consultations,” adding, “We will continue to support excellent local companies so that they can have global competitiveness.”
