대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 최삼룡, 이하 대구경북경자청)은 오는 10일부터 14일까지 UAE(두바이) 지역으로 대구경북경제자유구역 입주기업 7개사로 구성된 무역사절단을 파견한다고 6일 밝혔다.

대구경북경제자유구역청에 따르면 이번 무역사절단은 대구경북경제자유구역 내 ㈜제이에스테크원 등 입주기업 7개사와 두바이 현지 바이어 총 35개사가 참가하여 수출 상담을 진행하게 된다. 

상대적으로 해외마케팅이 부족한 중동지역 중 구매력이 높은 두바이의 유망 바이어를 대상으로 지역 기업 제품의 기술성과 우수성을 적극 홍보하여 다양한 수출 기회를 모색하고, 신규 거래선 발굴로 수출확대를 적극 지원할 계획이다.

무역사절단 파견으로 대구경북경자청은 바이어 발굴, 상담 주선, 통역 지원을 통해 상담 내용이 실제 계약으로 이어질 수 있도록 지속적인 관리와 후속 지원을 적극 추진할 방침이다.

또한 CES(국제전자제품박람회), MWC(모바일기기박람회)와 함께 중동, 북아프리카 지역 최대 정보통신전시회로 꼽히는 GITEX(정보통신박람회)를 참관 후, 기업별로 현지 바이어를 직접 방문하는 방문 상담회를 진행할 예정이다.
