【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=친환경 맞춤형 농법으로 육성하고 있는 의성 일품 우렁이쌀이 지난 10월 28일 프랑스 수출에 이어 12월 7일 두바이로 선적됐다.
8일 의성군(군수 김주수)은 이번 수출을 철저한 생산관리, 품질관리를 통한 우수한 품질이 보장되어 나가게 된 것이며, K-FOOD의 위상을 보여주는 것으로 평가한다고 밝혔다.
또한 서의성농협의 수출 의지와 고품질 쌀생산을 위한 의성군의 전폭적인 지원이 어우러진 결과로 보고있다고 덧붙였다.
한편 의성군은 우렁이농법을 적극 권장해 2022년도에는 1,021농가 1,200ha에 친환경적인 제초 활용, 농약방제 인력 절감, 비료 절감 등의효과를 거두고 있다.
김주수 의성군수는 “우렁이농법과 농가 생상성 향상을 위한 기자재 등을 적극 지원하여 농업 생산성을 늘리고, 세계 방방곡곡에 우리 쌀을 수출하여 농가소득 향상에 최선을 다하고자 한다”고 말했다.
