지난해대구경북경제자유구역청은 총 1조 4,000억원의 투자유치를달성하는 등 주목할 만한 성과를 이루었다.

주요 투자 유치 사례로는 수성알파시티에 SK그룹 등 3개사의 9,150억, 테크노폴리스의 베어로보틱스 680억(외투), 포항융합기술산업지구의 티센바이오팜 등 3개사의520억, 영천하이테크파크지구의 로젠 1,260억 투자 등이 있다.

올해는강력한 인프라와 유리한 정책환경을 활용하여 국내외 투자자들을 유치할 계획이다.올해의 투자유치 기본방향은 3대 핵심전략산업을 축으로 수도권 등 역외기업과 유턴기업 중점 유치, 그리고 대규모 산업전시회 연계,코트라 등 투자전문기관 연계, 국내외 타깃기업 초청, 벤처캐피탈연계 등 3) 전략적 맞춤형 투자유치 전략을 추진한다.

대구경북경제자유구역의 ‘3대 핵심전략산업’은 ICT‧로봇, 의료‧바이오, 미래형모빌리티 산업분야이며, ‘ICT‧로봇산업’의 투자유치 전략은 대구경북의 ICT・로봇산업 정책과 연계하는 것으로 ‘디지털 혁신거점화’의수성알파시티, ‘로봇테스트필드’의 테폴 지구가 중심이다.

‘의료‧바이오산업’은 신서첨단의료지구와 포항융합기술산업지구의 R&D 인프라 및 앵커기업을 기반으로 타깃기업을 중점발굴할 계획으로최근 첨복단지 내 제조생산 시설 입주 가능 및 양도가격 무기한 제한규제가 해소되는 점을적극 홍보할 계획이다.

‘미래모빌리티산업’은대구지역은 ‘모터소부장 특화단지(’23.7월)’, 경북지역은 포항이차전지 국가첨단전략산업 특화단지(’23.7월), 포항차세대배터리리사이클링 규제자유특구(’19.8월), 경산무선전력전송규제자유특구(’22.8월)등 특화단지와 특구의 강점을 활용하여 모빌리티기업을유치시킨다는 전략이다.

또한, 지구별 지역의 R&D기관 및 앵커기업 등 자체 강점을 활용하여 국내외 투자유치를 끌어올리는 한편, 대외적으로 ‘자국우선주의’, ‘프렌드쇼어링’ 등 동맹 및 자국 중심으로의 공급망재편과 대내적으로정부 현금지원 및 법인세 인센티브 강화에 발맞춰국가첨단전략기술분야의 해외기업을 국내복귀기업으로 유치해 글로벌 환경변화에도선제적으로 대응할 계획이다.

지난해, 대경경자청은 국내복귀기업 대상 투자인센티브 및 행정지원 등 우수 사례를 바탕으로산자부 주관 2023년 경제자유구역 성과평가 최우수(S) 등급을 달성한 바 있다.
