봉화청량산캠핑장은 약 14,000㎡의 면적에 카라반 7동, 데크 야영 14면, 쇄석 야영 14면을 갖추고 있으며 샤워장 2개동, 개수대 2개소, 어린이 놀이시설, 개별 주차장 및 전기 공급시설도 완비되어 있어 야영객이 이용하기에 불편함이 없도록 조성돼 있다.

아울러 캠핑장 인근에는 지역의 역사와 문화를 체험할 수 있는 청량산박물관이 있고, 수려한 경관과 여러 등산로가 존재하는 청량산도립공원을 마주보고 있어 심신이 지쳐있는 가족단위 캠핑객이 휴식을 취할 수 있는다.

청량산도립공원관리사무소에 따르면 캠핑장 이용 신청은 봉화군청 누리집을 통해 예약할 수 있다.

박현국 봉화군수는 “올해는 다양한 캠핑수요에 대응하기 위해 글램핑 조성을 서두르고 있다.”며 “앞으로도 다양한 목소리에 귀 기울이며 현장 중심의 활동으로 캠핑문화 질 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
