고용노동부(장관 이정식)는 대학일자리플러스센터 20개소를 선정해 전문 컨설턴트가 고교에 직접 찾아가는 고교생 맞춤형 고용서비스를 개시한다고 21일 밝혔다.

고교생 맞춤형 고용서비스는 대학의 우수한 인프라와 산학네트워크를 활용하여 직업교육훈련 전에는 전공․적성에 맞는 진로설계와 훈련과정 선택, 직업교육훈련 이후에는 기업 직무체험, 현직자 멘토링, 취업역량교육프로그램 등 직업훈련과연계된 고용서비스를 제공한다.

대학일자리플러스센터에서는고교생이 재학단계부터졸업한 이후에도 취업을 지원함으로써 고졸 청년들의 사회진출을 적극 지원할 계획이다.

이를 위해 이정식 고용노동부장관은21일 오전, 영남이공대학교에서고용노동부-대구교육청(교육감 강순희)-계명대(총장 신일희), 영남이공대(총장 이재용), 계명문화대(총장 박승호)와함께고교생맞춤형 고용서비스의 성공적인 안착을 위한업무협약을 체결했다.

이날 업무협약식을 계기로 대구지역 全 직업계고에 대해서는 찾아가는 고교생맞춤형 고용서비스가 제공될 예정이며, 대구에서 전국을 선도할 수 있는 우수모델을만들어 나갈 수 있도록 정부-대학-고교간 긴밀한 협력을 다짐했다.

이날 오후이정식 고용노동부 장관은 일학습병행에 참여하고 있는 경북기계금속고등학교(경북 경산시 소재 직업계고)를 방문하여 교직원 및 학생, 기업 관계자를 격려하고 현장의 목소리를 청취했다.

직업계고 일학습병행은2~3학년 학생들에게 학교와 기업을 오가는 방식의현장성 있는 직업교육과 도제훈련을 제공하고 숙련 기능 형성과 자격취득을통한 조기 입직 및 장기근속을 지원하는 직업교육훈련 사업으로, 졸업 후에는엔지니어로서 커리어를 개발할 수 있도록 신기술 중심의 고숙련훈련과학위취득 등 後학습도 지원하고 있다.
