【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구 동구 평화시장 닭똥집 골목 일대에서 오는 7월 3일부터 7일까지 5일간 ‘평화시장 닭똥집골목 치맥페스티벌’이 열린다.
대구 동구청(구청장 윤석준)에 따르면 이번 행사는 대구치맥페스티벌의 연계로 진행되며 주민참여 이벤트, 노래경연대회, 프리마켓 등 볼거리와 즐길거리로 구성됐다.
특히 개막식이 열리는 4일에는 인기가수 강혜연과 오강혁의 축하공연과 경품추첨이 진행된다.
한편, 행사 기간 중 닭똥집 매장을 방문해 인증사진을 찍어 홈페이지에 올리면 매일 선착순 100명에게 커피쿠폰을 증정하는 ‘평화시장 닭똥집골목 소문내기’ 이벤트도 열린다.
윤석준 동구청장은 “바쁜 일상과무더위를 잠시 잊고 50년 전통의 닭똥집 명물거리에서 축제를 마음껏 즐기시기를 바란다.”고 전했다.
한편 평화시장 닭똥집골목은 70년대부터 지역을 대표하여 시민들과 함께한 50년 전통을 자랑하는 전국 유일한 닭똥집 골목으로, 동구의 오미 중 하나인 닭똥집 요리로 대구가 치맥의 성지로 거듭나는데 한몫하고 있다.
