이번 기부를 통해 iM뱅크는 1억1천만 원 상당의 온누리상품권을 구매해 대구·경북 지역 취약계층 1,100세대에 전달할 예정이다.

iM뱅크는 매년 설과 추석 명절을 맞아 지역 취약계층 지원과 전통시장 활성화를 위해 온누리상품권 기부를 지속적으로 실시해오고 있다.

이날 행사에 참석한 신용필 상무는 “민족 최대 명절을 맞아 이웃들이 소외되지 않고 풍성한 명절을 보낼 수 있기를 바라며, iM뱅크는 고객과 지역사회가 함께 웃을 수 있는 나눔 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

iM Bank Donates ₩110 Million in Onnuri Gift Certificates to Underprivileged Local Families in Time for Chuseok

iM Bank (CEO Hwang Byung-woo) held a ceremony at its Suseong-dong headquarters on September 29th, in partnership with the Daegu Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Shin Hong-sik) and the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jeon Woo-heon), to donate Onnuri gift certificates to support underprivileged local communities in preparation for the Chuseok holiday.

Through this donation, iM Bank will purchase ₩110 million worth of Onnuri gift certificates and distribute them to 1,100 underprivileged households in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.

iM Bank has consistently donated Onnuri gift certificates every year during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays to support underprivileged local communities and revitalize traditional markets.

Shin Yong-pil, Executive Director who attended the event, said, “I hope that our neighbors will not be left out and can enjoy a bountiful holiday on this biggest national holiday. iM Bank will continue to engage in sharing activities that will bring smiles to our customers and the local community.”
