【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 3월 10일 본부 일대에서 대테러 대비태세를 점검하고 현장 대응 중심의 작전 수행 능력을 강화하기 위한 민·관·군·경·소방 합동 대테러 통합방호훈련을 실시했다.
이번 훈련에는 한울본부 청원경찰과 특수경비대, 자체 소방대를 비롯해 육군 50사단 예하 부대와 특전사, 경찰특공대, 울진군 경찰 및 해양경찰, 소방당국, 울진군청 방사능측정팀 등 총 265명이 참여했다.
훈련은 △본부 정문 차량 고속 침투 △드론을 이용한 건물 충돌에 따른 폭발 및 화재 발생 △발전소 내 폭발물 투하 등 복합적인 테러 상황을 가정해 진행됐다. 참가 기관들은 합동으로 현장 통제와 화재 진압, 인명 구조 활동을 수행하며 실제 상황에 대비한 대응 절차를 점검했다.
이세용 본부장은 “이번 훈련을 통해 유관기관과의 협조 체계를 점검하고 다양한 상황에 대한 대응 역량을 강화하는 계기가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 협력 체계 속에서 시나리오별 훈련을 실전처럼 지속적으로 실시해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters (Director Lee Se-yong, hereinafter referred to as Hanul Headquarters) conducted a joint civil-public-private-military-police-fire department joint anti-terrorism training on March 10th to review the company's anti-terrorism preparedness posture and strengthen its on-site response-oriented operational capabilities.
A total of 265 personnel participated in the training, including Hanul Headquarters' Cheongwon Police, Special Guard, and its own fire brigade, as well as units under the Army's 50th Division, Special Forces, Police SWAT, Uljin County Police and Coast Guard, fire departments, and the Uljin County Office Radiation Measurement Team.
The training simulated complex terrorist scenarios, including a high-speed vehicle infiltration of the headquarters' main gate, an explosion and fire caused by a drone crashing into a building, and the dropping of explosives within the power plant. Participating agencies jointly conducted on-site control, fire suppression, and rescue operations, and reviewed response procedures for real-world situations.
Director Lee Se-yong stated, "This training provided an opportunity to examine our cooperative system with relevant agencies and strengthen our response capabilities to various situations." He added, "We will continue to conduct scenario-specific training within our cooperative system, as if it were real-life scenarios."
