【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 이세용, 이하 한울본부)는 11월 26일 울진군민체육관에서 ‘2025년 울진군 사랑의 김장나누기 행사’를 열었다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에는 이세용 한울본부장과 손병복 울진군수, 백태진 울진군새마을회장을 비롯해 자원봉사자 200여 명이 참여했다. 참여자들은 울진 지역에서 생산된 배추와 고춧가루 등 지역 농산물을 이용해 총 4,110포기의 김장을 담갔다.

완성된 김치는 관내 취약계층 1,000세대와 복지시설 13곳에 전달될 예정이다. 행사 관계자는 “물가 상승과 집중호우 영향으로 배추 수급이 어려운 상황에서 지역 농가와 이웃 모두에게 의미 있는 나눔이 됐다”고 설명했다.

이세용 한울본부장은 “올해 배추 생산이 어려운 상황 속에서도 지역을 위한 먹거리 나눔에 함께할 수 있어 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회에 꼭 필요한 지원과 상생 활동을 지속하겠다”고 강조했다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters (CEO Lee Se-yong, hereinafter referred to as Hanul Headquarters) announced that it held the "2025 Uljin County Sharing Kimchi with Love" event at the Uljin County Gymnasium on November 26th.

The event was attended by approximately 200 volunteers, including Hanul Headquarters Director Lee Se-yong, Uljin County Mayor Son Byeong-bok, and Uljin County Saemaul Movement Chairman Baek Tae-jin. Participants made a total of 4,110 heads of kimchi using local produce, including cabbage and red pepper powder.

The completed kimchi will be distributed to 1,000 vulnerable households and 13 welfare facilities in the region. Event officials explained, "Due to rising prices and heavy rains, cabbage supply has been difficult, and this was a meaningful sharing event for both local farmers and neighbors."

Lee Se-yong, head of Hanul Headquarters, said, “It is meaningful to be able to participate in sharing food for the local community even amidst the difficulties in cabbage production this year,” and emphasized, “We will continue to provide much-needed support and mutually beneficial activities for the local community in the future.”
