【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구테크노파크(대구TP)가 자금 조달에 시름하고 있는 지역 기업들을 돕기 위해 두 팔을 걷어붙였다.

대구TP(원장 권대수)는 29일 포스트 코로나 및 4차 산업혁명 시대를 선도할 수 있는 정보통신, 인공지능(AI) 등 신산업 분야 기업의 투자 활성화를 위해 대구벤처센터에 ‘대구 온라인 IR 센터’를 개소했다고 밝혔다.

대구 온라인 IR 센터가 문을 연 첫 날인 지난 28일에는 AI, 바이오, 의료 분야에서 수준 높은 기술을 보유하고 있는 초기 창업기업(5개사) 및 대구시 프리(Pre) 스타기업(1개사) 등이 수도권에 소재한 벤처캐피탈(VC)등 6개 투자기관이 지켜보는 가운데 온라인 IR(Investor Relations)을 진행했다.

블록퍼즐 제조 기업인 ㈜파코웨어 이인규 대표는 “지역기업의 경우 수도권 투자자들과 접촉할 기회가 적어 늘 아쉬웠다”며 “유력 VC들과 투자유치를 위한 전략방안에 대해 심도 있는 상담을 가질 수 있는 좋은 기회였다”며 온라인 IR 참가에 대한 만족감을 피력했다.

권대수 대구TP 원장은 “금번 문을 연 대구 온라인 IR 센터가 지역기업의 자금난을 극복하는 데 보탬이 되는 든든한 조력자로 자리매김 하도록 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.

한편 대구TP는 온라인 IR 센터를 통해 월 1회 이상 정기적인 IR 피칭을 진행하는 한편 지역기업과 투자자가 일대일(1:1)로 접할 수 있는 자리를 지속적으로 만들 계획이다. 또한 대구TP에서 운영 및 관리하는 10여개의 펀드(500억여 원 규모)에도 지역기업의 투자를 적극 유도하는 등 지역의 벤처‧창업 생태계 활성화에도 박차를 가할 예정이다.
