이번 캠페인은 대구경북지방중소벤처기업청이 추진하는 ‘대구·경북 지역 소비활성화 추진계획’의 일환으로, 지역 대표 기업지원기관인 대구TP가 전통시장과 연계한 사회공헌활동 차원에서 마련됐다. 직원들은 지역화폐를 활용한 장보기, 전통시장 내 식당에서의 중식 간담회, 주변 정화활동 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여했다.

대구TP는 지난 9월부터 산격종합시장, 동대구역전시장, 신내당시장 등을 차례로 방문해 전통시장 활성화에 동참해왔으며, 이날은 김한식 원장을 비롯한 임직원들이 동구시장에서 추석맞이 장보기와 간담회를 진행하며 상인들과 소통했다.
