【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구테크노파크(원장 김한식·이하 대구TP)는 산업통상자원부와 대구광역시가 지원하는 ‘메디바이오 핵심소재 기술개발 및 메디컬바이오 실용화 지원기반 구축 사업’의 일환으로, 2026년 메디바이오 핵심소재 서비스 실증시험지원 참여기업을 오는 30일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다.

메디바이오(Medi-Bio)는 의료(Medical)와 바이오(Bio) 기술을 융합한 분야로, 질환 치료와 건강 증진에 기여하는 의약품, 건강기능식품, 화장품 등 고부가가치 제품과 핵심소재를 개발하는 산업이다. 최근 개인 맞춤형 헬스케어와 예방 중심 의료 트렌드 확산에 따라 미래 성장산업으로 주목받고 있다.

이번 사업은 메디바이오 핵심소재 3대 분야인 코스메슈티컬, 건강기능식품, 의약품 분야의 제품 및 서비스를 개발·판매하는 기업을 대상으로 한다. 기술의 객관적 검증과 실증시험을 통해 제품 신뢰도를 높이고, 이를 바탕으로 사업화 역량 강화와 성과 창출을 촉진하는 것이 목적이다.

지원 내용은 핵심소재 기반 코스메슈티컬의 임상 유효성 평가(주름, 미백, 탄력, 유·수분 개선 등), 제품 안전성 평가(인체 피부 일차자극시험) 등 총 8개 실증시험 분야와 관련 기술지도 등으로 구성된다.

이번 실증시험 지원에는 대구TP 바이오헬스센터를 비롯해 경북대학교 산학협력단, 대구경북첨단의료산업진흥재단, 전북바이오융합산업진흥원, 경기도경제과학진흥원 등이 참여해 분야별 맞춤형 지원을 제공한다.

이용우 대구TP 의료바이오산업본부장은 “실증시험 지원은 기업이 기술 경쟁력을 확보하고 시장 진입 장벽을 낮추는 데 실질적인 도움이 될 것”이라며 “메디바이오 산업의 성장과 기업 성과 창출을 적극 뒷받침하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu TP to Recruit Companies for 2026 Medi-Bio Core Materials Demonstration Trial

Medi-Bio, a field that combines medical and biotechnology, develops high-value-added products and core materials, such as pharmaceuticals, health functional foods, and cosmetics, that contribute to disease treatment and health promotion. With the recent spread of personalized healthcare and preventative healthcare, it is attracting attention as a future growth industry.

This project targets companies developing and selling products and services in the three major areas of Medi-Bio core materials: cosmeceuticals, health functional foods, and pharmaceuticals. The goal is to enhance product reliability through objective technology verification and field trials, thereby strengthening commercialization capabilities and promoting performance.

The support will cover eight areas of field trials, including clinical efficacy evaluations of core ingredient-based cosmeceuticals (wrinkle reduction, whitening, elasticity, oil and moisture improvement, etc.) and product safety evaluations (primary human skin irritation testing), as well as related technical guidance.

This field trial support will be provided by the Daegu Technology Partnership Biohealth Center, Kyungpook National University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Innovation Industry Promotion Foundation, the Jeonbuk Bio-Convergence Industry Promotion Agency, and the Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Promotion Agency, providing tailored support for each field.

Lee Yong-woo, Head of the Medical and Bio-Industry Headquarters at the Daegu Technology Partnership, stated, "This field trial support will be a practical aid in helping companies secure technological competitiveness and lower market entry barriers. We will actively support the growth of the medi-bio industry and drive corporate performance."
