【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구라이즈사업본부(원장 김한식)와 광주RISE센터(원장 직무대행 김운섭)는 지난 11월 20일 ‘대구-광주 AI‧로봇 인증체계 구축’을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 지난 11월 18일 열린 대구-광주 달빛동맹 발전위원회에서 합의한 신규 과제 중 하나인 ‘AI 융합 핵심인재 공동 양성’ 추진을 위한 기반 마련 차원에서 이뤄졌다.
이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 ▲AI·로봇 교육 공통 표준안 마련 및 인증기준 수립 ▲지역 대학·전문기관과의 협력을 통한 인증모델 개발 및 운영 ▲AI·로봇 교재 개발과 실무 중심 교육 모듈 설계 ▲대학 간 교육 협력 모델 발굴 ▲인재 양성과 산·학·연 협력 체계 구축 등 다양한 분야에서 상호 협력하기로 했다.
양 기관은 2026년부터 본격 추진 예정인 초광역 협업 과제 수행에 맞춰 실질적이고 가시적인 성과를 창출하기 위해 체계적인 협업 플랫폼 구축에도 힘을 모으기로 했다.
이번 과제는 대구라이즈사업본부가 2025년 수행 중인 달빛동맹 초광역 교육 협력 과제 계획서를 변경해 추진하며, 광주RISE센터는 가용 예산을 활용해 12월 중 수행 대학을 공모·선정할 예정이다.
대구TP 김한식 원장은 “대구-광주 간 초광역 협업 과제인 AI‧로봇 인증체계 구축의 첫 단추를 잘 꿰어 향후 추가 공동 과제를 발굴하고 의미 있는 성과를 만들어 내겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu and Gwangju Sign MOU to Establish AI and Robot Certification System… Wide-area Talent Development Begins in Full Swing
The Daegu RISE Business Headquarters (Director Kim Han-sik) and the Gwangju RISE Center (Acting Director Kim Woon-seop) announced on November 20th that they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a Daegu-Gwangju AI and Robot Certification System.
This agreement lays the foundation for the "Joint Cultivation of AI Convergence Core Talent," one of the new projects agreed upon at the Daegu-Gwangju Moonlight Alliance Development Committee meeting held on November 18th.
Through this agreement, the two organizations agreed to collaborate in various areas, including: ▲Developing common standards for AI and robot education and establishing certification criteria; ▲Developing and operating a certification model through collaboration with local universities and specialized institutions; ▲Developing AI and robot textbooks and designing practice-oriented educational modules; ▲Exploring inter-university educational cooperation models; and ▲Establishing a talent development and industry-academia-research collaboration system.
The two organizations agreed to collaborate on building a systematic collaboration platform to achieve tangible and tangible results in line with the implementation of the ultra-wide-area collaboration project, scheduled to begin in earnest in 2026.
This project will be implemented by modifying the plan for the Moonlight Alliance Ultra-wide Area Education Cooperation Project, currently being implemented by the Daegu RISE Project Headquarters in 2025. The Gwangju RISE Center plans to utilize its available budget to solicit and select participating universities in December.
Daegu TP Director Kim Han-sik stated, "By successfully completing the first step of the Daegu-Gwangju ultra-wide-area collaboration project, the establishment of an AI and robot certification system, we will explore additional joint projects and achieve meaningful results in the future."
