대구시와 대구TP는 비대면·디지털 역량을 갖춘 청년 채용을 지원하고 기업의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 지역 혁신기관 연계 브레인스타 양성사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

지역 혁신기관 연계 브레인스타 양성사업은 지역 청년들이 변화하는 산업환경에 적응하고 비대면·디지털 분야 전문성을 강화할 수 있도록 체험형 또는 멘토형 인턴십 프로그램 과정을 운영하는 등 기업의 혁신성장을 이끌 수 있도록 지원하는 사업이다.

이 사업의 지원대상은 대구시 소재 기업부설연구소 또는 연구개발전담조직을 보유한 기업이며, 모집 규모는 만 18세 이상 39세 이하의 청년을 신규로 채용한 20개사이로 참여기업은 3월부터 1인당 월 최대 160만원의 채용지원금을 지원받게 된다.

조정일 대구TP 과학기술진흥센터장은 “지역기업이 위드코로나 시대에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해서는 미래 신성장산업 육성과 함께 인력의 혁신 역량이 가장 중요하다”면서 “지역혁신기관과 연계한 일대일 맞춤 지도를 통해 수요자 입장에서 필요한 체계적인 교육을 제공하여 지역 기업의 역량을 끌어올리는 데 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.
