간담회를 마친 이들 대학생 연합회 회원들은 북구 발전의 적임자로 박병우 예비후보를 지지한다고 선언했다. 

대학생연합회 회원들은 “박병우 예비후보의 주요공약 중 일자리가 제일 우선인 것과 50사단 이전 후 웰니스 단지 조성, 그리고 경북도청 이전 후의 계획을 SNS를 통해 잘 알고 있기 때문에 박병우 예비후보를 지지하게 되었다”라며 지지선언 이유를 밝혔다

박병우 예비후보는 이 간담회 자리에서  “청년들이 가지고 있는 어려움을 너무나 잘 이해하고 있다” 청년시절 겪었던 아픈 경험과 그것을 극복해 간 이야기를 들려주면서 “청년을 위한 일자리 공약들은 반드시 이행 할 것”이라고 강조했다.

박병우 예비후보는  “북구 대학생연합회분들의 적극적인 지지선언은천군만마를 얻은 기분이다. 대학생 여러분이 동참하기 때문에 제가 꼭 당선되겠다” 라며참석한 대학생 연합회 회원들에게 감사를 전했다
