이번 축제는 ▲눈앞에서 펼쳐지는 광활한 백두대간 절경과 함께 모노레일에서 단산 정상까지 약 1.9km 데크길 구간으로 남녀노소 가볍게 걸을 수 있는 ‘단산 트래킹·라디엔티어링’ ▲해발 856m에 위치한 캠핑장에서 가족과 연인이 함께하는 낭만 가득한 ‘단산 별빛 캠핑 페스티벌’ ▲하늘과 가장 가까운 단산의 절경과 별빛을 무대삼아 가족과 함께 보기 좋은 단편영화『떨어져 있어야 가족이다(2021)』,『뒤로 걷기(2020)』등 다양한 영화가 상영되는 ‘단산 속닥속닥 영화제’ 등 다채로운 행사로 풍성하게 꾸며졌다.

단산모노레일은 지난 19년 4월 운영을 시작해 코로나 위기 속 지금까지 15만명 이상이 다녀간 관광시설로 모노레일을 비롯해 캠핑장, 모험시설, VR체험시설, 하늘쉼터 등 다양한 체험·편의시설을 보유하고 있어 문경과 경북을 대표하는 관광지다.

김동현 문경시 관광진흥과장은 “이번 축제가 코로나19로 여행에 목말랐던 많은 분들에게 단비같은 축제가 되길 바란다.”며 “문경단산모노레일을 배경으로 다양한 콘텐츠를 지속 발굴해 힐링·체험 명품 관광지로 발돋움 할 수 있도록 지속 노력하겠다.”며 소감을 밝혔다.

이번 문경 친환경캠핑 페스티벌 일정은 오는 6월 10일에서 12일까지 1차 페스티벌을 진행하며, 6월 24일에서 26일까지 2차 페스티벌을 진행할 예정이다.
