플로깅은 건강과 환경을 동시에 챙길 수 있는 운동으로, 조깅을 하면서 동시에 쓰레기를 줍는 활동을 말한다. 

달빛탐사대는 공통프로그램으로 매주 금요일 아웃도어 활동을 해왔으며, 그 중  ‘대야산 등반 플로깅’을 진행하였고, 10명의 탐사대원이 함께 참여했다.

달빛탐사대를 운영하는 ‘문경청년협의체 가치살자’는 문경에 살거나 이주하여 성공적으로 정착한 5개의 청년 사업체로 시작해 지난 2020년 행정안전부 ‘청년마을 구축 및 청년활력 지원사업’ 공모에 선정되어 ‘달빛탐사대’프로젝트를 운영한 바 있다. 

달빛탐사대는 청년들의 지속가능한 지역살이를 위한 생태계를 조성하고 커뮤니티와 문화기반 구축, 취·창업 프로그램 컨설팅 및 네트워크 연계 등 다양한 방면으로 프로그램과 일정을 운영하고 있다. 

달빛탐사대는 지난해 ‘문경 세달살이’ 1기에 이어 올해는 일주일살이와 두달살이 2,3기를 진행중이며 현재 3기 팜/푸드/컬쳐/라이프 분야의 대원 18명이 문경에서 생활하며 지속적인 경제, 문화공동체로서 살아가기 위한 프로젝트 실험을 만들어가고 있다.
