이번 평가는 지난 2020년 4분기 진료분에 대해 994기관, 18개 수술을 대상으로 최초 투여 시기, 항생제 선택, 투여기간 영역에 대해 4개 지표를 평가했다.
평가 결과 영남대병원은 종합점수 92점으로 전체 평균 54.3점에 비해 우수한 성적으로 1등급을 받았다.
적정한 항생제를 투여하는지에 대한 18개 수술을 평가한 결과, 영남대병원은 담낭수술, 자궁적출술, 제왕절개술, 전립선절제술, 폐절제술 등의 수술 항목에서 만점 또는 만점에 가까운 우수한 점수를 받았다.
