【브레이크뉴스 】박은정 기자=영남대병원(병원장 신경철)은 4주기 의료기관 인증 현판 제막식을 개최했다고 5일 밝혔다.
의료기관 인증은 환자안전과 의료서비스의 질적 향상을 위해 의료서비스 수준 및 의료기관 운영 실태를 평가해 인증을 부여하는 제도로 인증기준을 충족한 의료기관에는 4년간 유효한 인증마크를 부여한다.
이날 현판식에는 김종연 영남대의료원장과 신경철 영남대병원장, 이준 기획조정처장, 서완석 사무처장, 박삼국 부원장 등 병원 경영진들이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
영남대병원은 올해 1월 보건복지부 의료기관평가인증원에서 실시한 4주기 의료기관 인증조사에서 전 부문 우수한 평가를 받아 인증을 획득했으며 보건복지부로부터 상급종합병원 의료기관 인증서를 교부받았다. 인증 유효기간은 오는 2027년 3월까지다.
신경철 병원장은 “이번 4주기 의료기관 인증 획득은 전 구성원이 소통과 화합으로 마음을 모은 결과로써 의료서비스 질과 안전성을 객관적으로 인정받은 것”이라며 “앞으로도 영남 최고의 의료기관으로서 고객 만족 등 차별화된 진료서비스를 제공해 더욱 신뢰받는 병원을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
