【브레이크뉴스 김천】이성현 기자=김천시는 26일 발표된 국민권익위원회의‘2022년도 공공기관 청렴도 평가’에서 지난해보다 한 등급 상승한 종합청렴도 3등급을 받았다고 밝혔다.

김천시는 2018년도 청렴도 3등급을 받은 이후 수년 동안 4∼5등급에 머물렀으나 청렴도 1등급 달성의 목표를 가지고 지난해 초부터 반부패‧청렴도 향상 기본계획을 수립해 다양한 청렴 대책을 강도 높게 추진해왔다.

‘김천시 청렴도 향상 지원 조례’제정, ‘청렴 파수꾼’익명제보시스템 운영, 부패‧청렴훼손 상황에 대한 청렴 모의신고 훈련 △업무처리 경험이 있는 민원인을 대상으로 청렴 해피콜(HAPPY CALL) 운영 등 총 13개의 실천과제를 마련하여 내실 있게 운영했다.

아울러 민간 보조금 집행에 대한 강력한 감사를 실시하여 깨끗하고 투명한 김천 만들기에 최선의 노력을 기울였다.

김천시는 ‘청렴도 1등급’이라는 최종 목표를 달성하기 위해 지난해 추진한 실천과제의 장단점을 분석하고 보완하여 앞으로도 강도 높은 청렴도 향상 대책을 지속적으로 추진할 예정이다.

김충섭 시장은 “시민과 공직자 모두가 함께 노력하여 좋은 성과를 거둔 것”이라며 “부족한 부분을 좀 더 보완하여 청렴도 1등급 달성을 위해 끊임없이 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.

한편, 지난해 새롭게 개편된 공공기관 청렴도 측정은 국민권익위원회가 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체 등 501개 공공기관을 대상으로 평가했다.

Meanwhile, last year's newly reorganized public institution integrity measurement was evaluated by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission on 501 public institutions, including central administrative agencies and local governments.
