【브레이크뉴스 김천】이성현 기자=김천시(시장 김충섭)는 5월 1일부터 노후경유차에 대한 조기 폐차 지원사업을 추가 시행한다고 25일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 지난 1차(3월 2일 ~ 3월 17일) 조기 폐차 지원사업 접수 결과 590대의 노후경유차가 폐차 대상으로 선정되었으며, 이번 추가 접수에서는 약 810대의 차량을 추가 선정할 계획이다.

지원 대상은 매연저감장치(DPF)가 부착되지 않은 배출가스 4·5등급 경유차 및 2009년 8월 이전 배출허용기준을 적용하여 제작된 도로용 3종 건설기계(덤프트럭, 믹스트럭, 펌프 트럭) 또는 2004년 이전 배출허용기준에 맞게 제작된 지게차, 굴착기를 대상으로 한다.

지원 차량은 접수일 기준 대기관리권역 또는 김천시에 6개월 이상 연속하여 등록되어있어야 하며, 자동차 검사 결과 ‘정상 가동’판정, 지방세나 환경개선부담금 등의 체납이 없어야 한다.

지원금은 차종 및 연식에 따라 3.5톤 미만 차량의 경우 5등급 최대 300만 원, 4등급은 최대 800만 원까지 지원되며, 3.5톤 이상 차량 및 도로용 3종 건설기계는 5등급 최대 4,000만 원, 4등급 최대 1억 원까지 지원받을 수 있다.

신청 기간은 오는 5월 1일부터 예산소진 시까지이며, ‘자동차배출가스 누리집’에서 별도 서류 없이 신청하거나, 등기우편(경기 안양시 동안구 시민대로 137, 6층 한국자동차환경협회), 이메일 (1577-7121@aea.or.kr) 중 선택하여서 신청하면 된다.

이성화 환경위생과장은 “대기질 개선을 위한 노후경유차 조기 폐차 사업에 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드린다.”라고 밝혔다.
