유청술 아포체육회장은 “김천 상무 프로축구단의 정착을 위해 앞으로도 아포읍민에게 입장권을 배부하는 등 지속적으로 홍보·지원할 예정.”이라며 “아포읍민 모두가 김천 상무 1부 승격을 기원하고 있으니 그 기운으로 반드시 승격을 이룰 수 있을 것 같다.”고 말했다.

한편 김천 상무 프로축구단은 2023시즌 개막 후 2승1패(승점 6)로 6위에 자리 잡고 있으며 경남은 2승2무(승점 8)로 2위를 달리고 있다.
