1일 대구시에 따르면 지난해 12월부터 올해 1월 31일까지 진행한 ‘희망 2023 나눔 캠페인’ 집계 결과, 목표액 100억 원을 초과해 103억 원을 모금함으로써 사랑의 온도 103도를 달성했다.

올해도 지역 기업의 나눔 참여가 사랑의 온도를 올리는데 큰 힘이 됐다. 

한국부동산원이 6억 5천만 원을 기부해 대구 1호 기부자로 등록됐으며, 한국가스공사, 대구도시공사 등 공기업 및 지역 공공기관의 기부를 시작으로 에스엘 서봉재단이 지난해와 같이 10억 원의 기부를 했고 DGB 금융그룹, 화성산업(주), 삼익THK(주) 등 기업이 억 대의 통 큰 기부를 이어왔다.

어려운 상황 속에서 개인 기부 역시 끊임없이 이어졌다.

 1급 장애가 있는 자녀의 고장 난 휠체어 수리를 시작으로 평리동에서 휠체어 판매 수리점을 운영하게 된 신동욱 대표는 10년째 장애인을 위한 기부를 이어왔다.

특히 대구농수산물도매시장의 도매법인인 대구중앙청과와 대양청과는 작년 화재로 큰 손실을 보았음에도 매년 하던 기부를 갑자기 끊을 경우 힘든 이웃을 위한 온정이 식을까 우려하며 기부에 참여했다.

각계각층에서 보내온 온정의 힘으로 1월 30일 사랑의 온도 100도를 달성했고, 31일 최종 온도 103도를 달성하며 ‘희망2023 나눔캠페인’을 마무리하게 됐다.
