문화예술허브 달성군 변경추진 반대 비상대책위원회는 17일 오전 9시 30분 산격청사 앞에서 대규모 집회를 열고 "홍준표 대구시장은 대통령의 공약에 따라 문화예술 조성사업을 반드시 이행할 것"을 촉구했다.

비대위는 "대구시는 대통령과 국민간의 약속을 파기하고 문화산업에 대한 상식도 외면한 채 대구시 외곽(현 대구교도소 부지)에 뮤지컬 전용 극장과 국립 근대미술관을 이전하려는 파렴치하고 몰상식한 밀실 시정을 자행하고 있다"고 비판했다.
