12일 오전 11시 대구 수성구에 위치한 생명평화나눔의 집에서는 김성년 사무처장의 출마 기자회견과 함께 제22대 총선 선대본 출범식이 개최되었다.

이날 행사에는 녹색정의당 대구시당 공동선대본부장을 맡은 황정화 전 녹색당 대구시당 운영위원장과 한민정 전 정의당 대구시당위원장이 참석해 김성년 예비후보의 지지를 호소했다.

이어 “이러한 거대양당 구도를 깨뜨리기 위해  ‘제3지대’를 자임하는 수많은 정당이 만들어졌지만, 이들로 현재의 거대양당 구도를 넘어설 수 없다”며 “녹색정의당은 단순히 제3지대가 아니라 시민들에게 ‘새로운 선택지’가 되고자한다”고 강조했다.
