엑스코에 따르면 이번 박람회는 식품 기업들의 국내·외 판로 개척을 지원하고 글로벌 식품 산업의 최신 트렌드와 정보 공유의 장으로서 가공식품·주류 및 음료·식품기계·푸드테크 등 분야에서 참가했다.

식품 분야 해외시장 진출을 지원하기 위한 수출상담회를 전년 대비 100% 확대하여 19개국 52개사 60명의 해외바이어를 초청했다.

특히 국내 식품업계에서 미개척 신시장으로 분류되는 튀르키예가 처음으로 참여해 새로운 판로 개척의 물꼬를 틀 것으로 기대된다.

이밖에도 국내 유통 MD 초청 구매상담회, 학교급식 영양세미나, 푸드테크 세미나 등 내수시장 확대와 유익한 정보 공유를 위한 부대행사도 마련했다.
