【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시의회 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 하기태)는 지난 4일, 제240회임시회 제2차회의를 개최하여 2024년도 제2회 추경예산안을 심사·의결한 후 위원회 활동을 마무리했다고 5일 밝혔다.

본 위원회는 지난달 28일, 제1차 회의에서 위원장에 하기태 의원, 부위원장에배수예 의원을 선임한 후, 4일 제2차 회의를 개최하여 2024년도 제2회 추경예산안을 심사했다.

회의 결과, 2024년도 제2회 추경예산안은 각 상임위원회의 예비심사를바탕으로 재정 건전성과 각종 사업의 효율성,시급성, 타당성을 고려하여 일반회계 세출 부분 6건, 4억 5,800만 원이 삭감되고, 2건 3억 500만원은 증액되어 총 1억 5,300만 원이 삭감되었다. 그 밖의 세입예산과 기타특별회계, 상수도사업특별회계 예산안은 모두 집행부 원안대로의결되었다.

하기태 예산결산특별위원장은 “앞으로 집행부에서는 철저한 계획에 따라예산을 편성해 주기 바라며,편성 후 사정변경으로 당해 사업의 예산집행이곤란하더라도 바로 반납할 것이 아니라, 시민들의 편익을 위해 다른사업

으로의 목변경이나 전용 등을 통해 예산 집행의 효율성을 높여주기 바란다.”고 말했다.

한편, 본 위원회에서 심사한 예산안은 5일 제2차 본회의에 상정되어 최종의결된다.

Ha Gi-tae, the chairman of the Budget and Settlement Special Committee, said, “I hope that the executive branch will organize the budget according to a thorough plan in the future, and even if the budget execution of the project in question is difficult due to a change in circumstances after organization, I hope that the budget will not be returned immediately, but rather that the efficiency of budget execution will be increased by changing the purpose or diverting it to other projects for the convenience of citizens.”

Meanwhile, the budget plan reviewed by this committee will be presented to the second plenary session on the 5th and finally approved.
