먼저, 문화와 예술이 지역 발전의 핵심 원동력임을 인식하고, 군민의 삶의 질 향상과 지역 경제 활성화 위해 풍요로운 문화 일상을 누리는 도시 청송을 조성해 나갈 계획이다.

이를 위해 주민맞춤형 문화교양 강좌 운영, 문화예술단체 및 전통문화 전승단체 활동 지원, 주민주도형 문화예술인 아이디어 프로젝트 사업 등 다양한 문화사업을 추진하여 군민의 문화예술 향유 기반을 마련한다.

또한, 문화누리카드 발급, 청년문화예술패스 지원, 지역문화사랑방 운영지원, 종교시설이용 돌봄공동체 운영 등 문화복지 사업을 확대해 문화소외계층을 줄이고 문화생활의 수준과 만족도를 높일 예정이다.

청송의 대표 문화유산인 청송백자를 주제로 한 청송백자 축제도 올해 다채로운 프로그램과 함께 개최된다. 이번 축제는 청송백자의 우수성을 알리고 문화예술과 결합한 다양한 콘텐츠를 선보이며, 지역 주민과 관광객 모두에게 특별한 경험을 제공할 예정이다.

특히, 청송사과축제와 함께 지역문화관광축제로서의 위상을 공고히 하며, 청송문화제, 청송특화공연, 다채로운 문화예술 공연 등이 어우러져 청송을 일상이 풍요로운 문화도시로 발전시키는 계기가 될 전망이다.

지정문화유산 11개소에는 재난방지시설을 설치·운영하며, 찬경루 등 보물 3개소에는 문화유산 안전 경비인력을 배치한다. 이를 통해 문화유산을 상시 관리하고 각종 재난에 신속하게 대응하면서, 더불어 일자리 창출로 민간고용 유발효과를 기대한다.

또한, 비지정 역사문화자원을 적극적으로 발굴하여 그 가치를 재조명하고 나아가 국가(도)지정 문화유산으로 지정될 수 있도록 추진할 계획이다.

도석을 이용하여 제작한 500년 전통의 청송백자를 도 무형유산으로 지정하도록 추진하는 등 올해도 향토문화유산에 대하여 지정 문화유산 신청 추진에 힘써 군민의 자긍심을 고취하고 지역의 소중한 문화유산의 가치를 드높이고자 한다.

체육 분야에서도 산악스포츠 도시로서의 입지를 다지고 체육 시설을 확충해 군민의 건강 증진과 삶의 질 향상을 도모하여 건강하고 젊은 청송군을 만드는데 힘쓴다. 그 첫 시작으로 지난 1월, 18개국 120여 명의 선수들이 참가한 ‘청송 아이스클라이밍 월드컵’이 성황리에 대회를 마쳤다.

특히, 이번 아이스클라이밍 월드컵은 2026~2030년까지 아이스클라이밍 월드컵대회 5개년 유치를 연장한 뜻깊은 해이며, 이번 대회 연장을 통해 다가올 2030 동계올림픽에서 ‘아이스클라이밍’ 정식종목 채택을 위한 초석을 다졌다.

봄에는 전국모터사이클챔피언십, 여름에는 전국산악자전거대회, 가을에는 청송사과 트레일런, 낙동정맥등반대회 등 산악스포츠의 메카라는 명성에 걸맞게 사계절 내내 전국단위 산악스포츠대회 개최로 레저스포츠 관광 활성화에 기여한다.

아울러, 산악스포츠대회 외에도 전국 고등 축구리그, 전국종별배드민턴 선수권대회, 춘계 전국 중·고등 검도대회, 황금사과배 전국 고등씨름대회, 청송사과배 전국 테니스대회 등 전국규모 대회와 종목별 군수기 대회 개최를 통해 생활체육과 지역경제 활성화라는 상생효과를 도모하여 지역 상권에 활기를 북돋울 것으로 예상된다.

또한, 상반기에 개장식과 함께 개장기념 대회 개최 예정인 산남 파크골프장과 하반기에 완공 예정인 청송군 농업인 파크골프장을 통해 최근 열기를 띠고 있는 파크골프 종목의 활성화를 도모할 계획이다.

마지막으로 지역경제 활성화 및 에너지복지 사업을 통한 군민 생활편의 도모에 노력한다. 지역 소비 촉진을 위해 청송사랑화폐를 작년과 같은 규모인 700억 원 규모로 연중 10% 할인 발행하였으며, 3억 원 규모의 소상공인 특례보증 지원 확대, 소상공인 카드수수료 지원, 소상공인 출산장려 아이보듬지원사업 등 소상공인의 경영 안정을 도모한다.
