청송군은 지난 6일 경상북도 안동의료원, 복주회복병원과 ‘퇴원환자 지역사회 연계사업’ 추진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률을 근거로, 병원 퇴원 이후 돌봄과 건강관리 서비스가 필요한 환자들이 지역사회에서 안정적으로 생활할 수 있도록 의료·돌봄·복지 자원을 연계하고 협력체계를 구축하기 위해 마련됐다.

협약에 따라 각 기관은 ▲퇴원환자 지역사회 연계 협력 ▲퇴원환자 건강관리 및 복지서비스 연계 ▲대상자 발굴 및 사례관리 협력 ▲관련 정보 공유 및 네트워크 구축 등 다양한 분야에서 상호 협력할 예정이다.

청송군은 이번 협약을 통해 퇴원 환자들이 재가로 복귀하는 과정에서 지원의 중복이나 누락 없이 필요한 서비스를 제공받을 수 있어 불필요한 재입원이나 시설 입소를 예방하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 또한 환자들이 살던 지역에서 지속적으로 건강한 삶을 이어갈 수 있도록 실효성 있는 협력체계를 구축해 나갈 방침이다.

청송군 관계자는 “이번 협약을 통해 병원과 지자체가 협력해 더욱 촘촘한 돌봄 안전망을 구축하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 주민들이 정든 집에서 건강한 생활을 이어갈 수 있도록 관련 자원 발굴과 지원 체계 마련에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
