이번 사업을 통해 측·천창 완전 개폐형 하우스 구축을 비롯해 에어포그식 무인방제시스템과 환경제어시스템 설치, 기후 적응형 국내 육성 품종인 ‘골든볼’ 식재, 초밀식 다축재배, 온풍기 등 각종 재해 예방시설이 도입될 예정이다. 특히 재해대응형 사과 재배시설의 지역별 적용 효과를 폭넓게 검증하기 위해 청송군 8개 읍·면에 사업 대상자를 균형 있게 선정했다.

재해대응형 과수재배시설 시범사업은 최근 기후변화로 잦아진 저온 피해와 극한 호우 등 이상기상에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 추진되는 농림축산식품부 신규 사업이다. 대한민국 대표 사과 주산지인 청송군은 기상이변에 따른 생산 불안정이 지속되면서 재해 대응형 사과 재배시설 도입 필요성이 꾸준히 제기돼 왔다.

청송군농업기술센터는 사업의 성공적인 추진을 위해 지난해 ‘청송사과 스마트팜 하우스 재배 농업인연구회’를 결성했으며, 사과 재배에 최적화된 환경 조건 설계와 스마트 하우스 맞춤형 기술 지도, 프리미엄 유통 경로 발굴 등을 단계적으로 추진할 계획이다.

청송군 관계자는 “이번 시범사업은 기후변화 시대에 대응할 수 있는 미래형 사과 재배 모델을 구축하는 중요한 계기가 될 것”이라며 “청송 사과 산업의 새로운 성장 동력으로 자리매김할 수 있도록 사업 추진에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

A Cheongsong County official stated, "This pilot project will serve as a crucial opportunity to establish a future-oriented apple cultivation model that can adapt to the era of climate change.
