【브레이크뉴스 청송】이성현 기자=청송군(군수 윤경희)은 지난 22일 의성에서 발생한 산불이 25일 강풍을 타고 청송지역으로 확산되면서 막대한 피해를 초래했다고 27일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 3월 26일 오후 6시 기준으로 산불은 약 5,000ha의 산림을 태웠으며, 화선 길이는 88km에 달하는 상황이다. 현재까지 67.76km(진화율 77%)가 진화되었으며, 나머지 20.24km에 대한 진화 작업이 지속되고 있다.

이번 산불로 3명이 사망하고, 1명이 실종되었으며, 1명은 중상 입은 안타까운 인명 피해가 발생했다. 재산 피해 규모는 아직 조사 중이다. 

청송군은 빠른 진화를 위해 907명의 인력과 소방차 등 84대의 장비를 동원하여 대응 중이다. 또한 긴급 재난대피 문자 발송, 주민 대피 지원 차량 운영, 군부대 병력 지원 요청, 희생자 합동 분향소 설치 등 다양한 조치를 통해 주민 보호에 최선을 다하고 있다.

산불 발생 이후, 26일 19시 기준으로 8,010명의 주민을 안전하게 대피시켰으며, 이들은 청송국민체육센터, 청송노인여성회관 등 31개 대피시설에서 보호받고 있다.

 또한, 자원봉사자 116명이 투입되어 구호물자 사전대피구호키트 650개, 생수 10,000병, 간식 10,000개 등을 지원해 이재민들의 불편을 최소화하고 있다.

청송군은 27일 새벽 6시부터 추가 진화 작업을 강화할 예정이다. 이를 위해 476명의 추가 인력을 배치하고, 헬기 3대와 소방차 43대 등을 투입해 진화 작업을 이어갈 계획이다.

윤경희 청송군수는 “이번 산불 진화에 최선을 다하고 있으며, 주민들의 안전을 최우선으로 고려하여 신속한 대응을 지속하겠다”며, “군민 여러분께서는 산불 발생 지역에 접근을 삼가고, 대피 안내에 적극 협조해 주시기를 부탁드린다”고 전했다.

Cheongsong County, All-out Response to Prevent Wildfire Damage
