【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구·경북지방중소벤처기업청(청장 정기환, 이하 대경중기청)은 4월 17일부터 5월 7일까지 2025년 창업성장기술개발사업-첫걸음R&D에 참여할 중소기업을 대상으로 신청을 받는다고 2일 밝혔다.

‘첫걸음R&D’는 창업기업의 기술개발(R&D)을 지원하여 기술창업 활성화와 창업기업 성장 촉진을 위한 사업으로, 대구·경북 지역 소재의 중소기업이 참여할 수 있다. 창업 7년 이하(신산업 창업 분야의 경우 10년 이하)이고, 매출액 20억원 미만인 창업기업이 대상이다.

올해부터는 지원 규모가 확대되어, 과제당 최대 1년 6개월간 2억원이 지원된다. 이를 통해 선정된 기업들은 기술개발 결과물의 사업화 가능성을 높여 매출 증가 등 가시적인 R&D 성과를 창출할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

또한, 평가지표에 ‘지역 특화 평가지표’ 항목이 포함되어, 지역별 특화 산업과 기업 특성에 맞는 과제가 선정된다. 대구·경북 지역의 주축 산업(전기·자율 모빌리티 부품, 신소재 부품 가공 등 6개)과 미래 신산업(고난도 자율 조작, 이차전지 모듈 시스템 등 4개) 분야가 해당된다.

정기환 대경중기청장은 “올해는 성장 가능성이 높은 창업기업이 첫걸음R&D를 통해 한 단계 더 성장할 수 있도록 지원하고, 기업 현장 방문을 통해 애로사항을 해결하는 등 현장 밀착형 지원을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
