대구․경북지방중소벤처기업청(청장 김한식, 이하 대경중기청)은 10일부터 6월 18일까지 벤처·창업 진흥에 기여한 우수 유공자와 기관 등을 대상으로 포상 접수를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

10일, 대경중기청에 따르면 중소벤처기업부는 지난 1997년부터 대한민국 혁신성장의 주역인 우수 벤처ㆍ창업기업과 유공자를 발굴해 격려하기 위해 매년 포상을 시행해 왔다.

포상분야는 벤처 활성화, 투자 활성화, 창업 활성화 등 세 분야로, 분야별 주관기관이 요건확인, 서류·현장 심사 등을 통해 중소벤처기업부에추천하고 중소벤처기업부는 행정안전부와 협의를 통해 포상 수상자를 최종 선정하게 된다.

벤처 활성화 분야는 벤처기업협회, 투자 활성화 분야는 한국벤처캐피탈협회, 창업 활성화 분야는 창업진흥원과 한국청년기업가정신재단에서 주관한다.

포상의 훈격과 규모는 산업훈·포장, 대통령 표창, 국무총리 표창, 중소벤처기업부장관 표창 등 총 165점 내외로 수여할 계획이며, 포상자는 12월 중 개최되는 ‘2021년 벤처창업진흥 유공 포상식’에서 수여할 예정이다.
