【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구·경북지방중소벤처기업청(청장 엄진엽)은 ‘2023년 상권활성화사업(舊 상권르네상스사업) 대상지’로 대구 달서가 선정됐다고 24일 밝혔다.
구도심의 낙후된 상권에 활력을 불어넣기 위한 ‘상권 활성화 사업'은 지자체와 함께 단일 전통시장이나 상점가 대상 개별지원을 넘어 상권 전체를 대상으로 5년간 60~120억원 규모 환경개선과 상권활성화를 종합 지원하게 된다.
2023년도 사업부터는 일반 상권, 도심형소형상권 부문 모두 초기 3년 운영성과에 따라 2년을 연장하는 방식으로 사업을 추진한다.
대구 달서는 두류공원과 연계한 특화거리, 세대공감 복합문화공간을 조성하고 문화·예술관광 축제와 이벤트들을 개최해 ‘두류젊코(젊음의 CORE)상권’의 활성화를 도모할 예정이다.
대구·경북지방중소벤처기업청은 이번 선정된 신규 상권에 분야별 전문가 진단과 자문을 통한 사업계획서 고도화를 지원해 5년간 내실 있는 사업을 추진할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
