‘국유림 명품 숲’으로 선정된 영양 자작나무숲은 축구장 40개 규모의 전국 최대 자작나무 군락지로, 사계절 내내 빼어난 풍광을 자랑한다. 특히 가을이면 하얀 자작나무 사이로 붉고 노란 단풍이 물들어 환상적인 풍경을 만들어낸다.
