이번 산불로 영양군 내에서는 물탱크 5개소, 농업용수 관로 25km 등 총 14개소의 농업생산기반시설이 피해를 입었다. 특히 피해 발생 시기가 본격적인 영농기 시작 시점과 맞물려 배추, 고추 등 봄 작물 이식에 필요한 농업용수 공급에 큰 차질이 예상되는 위급한 상황이었다.

이에 영양군은 산불 발생 직후 농업생산기반시설 피해 조사를 신속히 마무리하고, 중앙합동조사반의 확인과 동시에 복구 공사를 선제적으로 발주했다. 지난 4월 초부터 시작된 복구 공사는 영농 차질을 최소화하기 위해 농업용수를 우선적으로 공급하면서 병행 추진되었으며, 5월 현재 14개소 모두 복구를 마쳤다.
