【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)은 ESG상생팀 김윤태 차장이 26일 서울 그랜드워커힐에서 열린 중소벤처기업부 주관 ‘2025 공공구매 촉진대회’에서 중소기업제품 공공구매 확대와 제도 개선에 기여한 공로로 국무총리 표창을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

2001년부터 시작된 공공구매 촉진대회는 중소기업 제품 구매 확대에 기여한 우수 공공기관과 중소기업인을 선정해 포상하는 행사로, 중소기업 판로 지원과 상생 협력을 촉진하는 역할을 하고 있다.

김윤태 차장은 방사성폐기물 분야 민간기업 육성을 위한 동반성장 계획을 추진하고, 방폐물 처분시설 건설 및 운영에 필요한 핵심 기자재를 중소기업 제품으로 적극 구매하는 데 앞장섰다. 또한 중소기업의 기술 경쟁력 강화를 위해 특허 비용을 지원하고, 기업의 자금 부담을 줄이기 위한 상생결제시스템 도입 등을 주도해왔다.

한국원자력환경공단은 지난해 총 물품구매액 313억 원 중 82.6%인 258억 원을 중소기업 제품으로 구매하며 공공기관의 중소기업 지원 정책 실천에 앞장서고 있다.

조성돈 이사장은 “이번 수상을 계기로 공단은 중소기업과의 상생 협력 체계를 더욱 강화하고 안정적인 공공구매 기반 조성에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (KORIA) Deputy Director Kim Yoon-tae Receives Prime Minister's Commendation at the '2025 Public Procurement Promotion Competition'

KORIA (Chairman Cho Sung-don) announced that Kim Yoon-tae, Deputy Director of the ESG Mutual Growth Team, received the Prime Minister's Commendation at the '2025 Public Procurement Promotion Competition' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul on the 26th for his contributions to expanding public procurement of SME products and improving the system.

Launched in 2001, the Public Procurement Promotion Competition recognizes and rewards outstanding public institutions and SME entrepreneurs for their contributions to expanding the purchase of SME products. It serves to support SME sales channels and foster mutually beneficial cooperation.

Deputy Director Kim Yoon-tae has spearheaded the implementation of a shared growth plan to foster private companies in the radioactive waste management sector and actively procured core equipment and materials needed for the construction and operation of radioactive waste disposal facilities from SMEs. He has also spearheaded initiatives such as supporting patent fees to enhance the technological competitiveness of SMEs and introducing a mutually beneficial payment system to reduce their financial burden.

Last year, the Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (KOREA) purchased 25.8 billion won (82.6%) of its total purchases of 31.3 billion won from SMEs, demonstrating its leadership in implementing public institutions' support policies for SMEs.

Chairman Cho Seong-don stated, "With this award, KOREA will further strengthen its collaborative system with SMEs and strive to establish a stable foundation for public procurement."
