공단은 오는 24일 본사 코라드홀에서 경주 대추밭백한의원, 서울대병원, 대구 차병원, 포항 여성아이병원이 참여하는 ‘제2회 양·한방 난임 토크콘서트 with KORAD’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 저출생에 따른 지역 소멸 위기 극복을 위해 공단을 비롯해 경주시보건소, ㈜디에이블 등 총 8개 기관이 함께 참여하는 협력 사업으로 추진된다.

토크콘서트에는 난임 분야 전문가들이 참여해 다양한 주제의 강연을 진행한다. 경주 대추밭백한의원 백진호 원장은 ‘한방 난임치료법’, 대구 차병원 난임센터 궁미경 원장은 ‘난임 최신 치료 동향’, 포항 여성아이병원 윤솔이 연구소장은 ‘배아과학과 임신 성공 사례’를 발표한다. 여기에 서울대병원 한지연 교수가 새롭게 참여해 ‘고위험 난임과 남성 난임’을 주제로 강연할 예정이다.

강연 이후에는 질의응답과 함께 양·한방 난임 치료에 대한 관점 차이를 논의하는 대담 시간이 이어진다. 이와 함께 추첨을 통해 식단·운동 처방 등 맞춤형 생활습관 관리 서비스를 제공하고, 경북권역 난임·임산부 심리상담센터가 현장 상담도 운영한다.

조성돈 이사장은 “이번 행사가 단순한 의학 정보 전달을 넘어 난임 부부들이 경험을 공유하고 심리적 위로를 받을 수 있는 의미 있는 소통의 장이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Korea Atomic Energy Environmental Corporation is establishing a forum for communication to address infertility issues and respond to the low birth rate.

The Corporation announced that it will hold the "2nd Western-Korean Medicine Infertility Talk Concert with KORAD" on the 24th at the KORAD Hall in its headquarters, with participation from Gyeongju Daechubat Baek Korean Medicine Clinic, Seoul National University Hospital, Daegu CHA Hospital, and Pohang Women & Children's Hospital.

This event is being promoted as a collaborative project involving a total of eight institutions, including the Corporation, the Gyeongju City Public Health Center, and The Able Co., Ltd., to overcome the crisis of regional extinction caused by the low birth rate.

Experts in the field of infertility will participate in the talk concert to deliver lectures on various topics. Dr. Baek Jin-ho, Director of Gyeongju Daechubat Baek Korean Medicine Clinic, will present on "Korean Medicine Infertility Treatment Methods"; Dr. Gong Mi-kyung, Director of the Infertility Center at Daegu CHA Hospital, will speak on "Latest Trends in Infertility Treatment"; and Yoon Sol-yi, Research Director at Pohang Women & Children's Hospital, will discuss "Embryology and Successful Pregnancy Cases." Additionally, Professor Han Ji-yeon of Seoul National University Hospital will join the event to give a lecture on the topic of "High-Risk Infertility and Male Infertility."

Following the lectures, a Q&A session will be held, followed by a discussion to explore the differences in perspectives regarding Western and Korean medicine infertility treatments. Furthermore, personalized lifestyle management services, including diet and exercise prescriptions, will be provided via a lottery, and the Gyeongbuk Regional Infertility and Pregnancy Psychological Counseling Center will offer on-site counseling.

Chairman Cho Seong-don stated, "I hope this event goes beyond simply conveying medical information to become a meaningful forum for communication where couples struggling with infertility can share experiences and receive psychological comfort."
