한국원자력환경공단(이사장: 차성수)이 행정안전부 주관 2020년 공공데이터 제공 운영실태평가에서 최상위 `우수등급`을 달성했다.

6일 한국원자력환경공단에 따르면 공공데이터 제공 운영실태 평가는 공공데이터법 제9조에 근거하여 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 535개 기관을 대상으로 실시하고 있으며, 주요평가 항목은 △공공데이터 관리체계, △개방, △활용, △품질, △기타(가‧감점)으로 구성되어 있다.

특히, 공단은 데이터 품질관리 분야 만점 달성과 방폐물 관리 및 기상환경분야 공공데이터에 대한 민간 App 개발 등의 성과를 인정받아 공단 설립 최초로 `우수기관`으로 선정됐다.

차성수 이사장은 “국내 유일의 방폐물 관리 전문기관으로서, 국민신뢰 확보와 사업 투명성제고를 위해 국민이 원하는 정보를 적극 개방하고, 국민이 필요로 하는 다양한 형태의 공공데이터를 민관협업으로 편리하게 제공할 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것“이라고 밝혔다.
